HorseMinder allows you to keep records for all your horses for farrier, worming, vaccination, veterinary and dental treatments.

Now you have all the important information about your horses with you at all times. The next time you are treating a wound and the vet asks when the last tetanus was... now you have the information.

How many times do you walk into a produce store and can’t remember what you wormed with last time? This won’t happen ever again!

Each section of HorseMinder (farrier, vaccination, veterinary, etc) consists of two tabs.

The first tab displays the entire history for each horse as well as providing the ability to add, edit and delete records.

The second tab provides an "Overview" screen where the “next due” appointment or treatment for each horse is displayed. This makes it very easy to see at a glance who is due for what and in the case of worming what product was last used.

KNOWN PROBLEMS:

On samsung phones the photo for the horse image is rotated unless the photo has been taken in landscape mode. This is an issue with Samsung NOT the HorseMinder app, however, we are trying to find a solution that will not affect other brands of phones.

HorseMinder can’t possibly work perfectly on all possible phone models (more than 2000 target devices) with all Android stock or custom versions + all manufacturers’ custom layers (such as HTC Sense) + all carriers custom layers + all combinations of installed applications so please be understanding and collaborative rather than just angry if everything is not immediately perfect.

READ_CALENDAR: allows events to be added to the calendar

WRITE_CALENDAR: allows events to be added to the calendar

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: back up of database is stored on external memory

CAMERA: required for image/identification of horse

READ_PHONE_STATE: this is to capture the device id for licensing

CHECK_LICENSE: contacts the server to ensure the copy of HorseMinder is licensed.
